Curriculum
We seek to cultivate wisdom and virtue by nourishing the child’s soul on truth, goodness, and beauty so that, in Christ, the student is enabled to better know, glorify, and enjoy God.
Grammar (K-6th grade)
Roots Classical Tutorial Grammar students use the Claritas Classical curriculum. The Memory Work Guides and their accompanying audio align with four historical cycles and consist of Scripture, Latin, English Grammar, Math, Science, History, Geography, Timeline, and Hymns. Students will begin formal Latin in sixth grade using Memoria Press First Form Latin. Parents will choose and implement their own math and reading curriculums at home.
Foundations of Fundamentals and Fundamentals
In Foundations of Fundamentals, students (2nd-3rd grade) further develop their English grammar skills, writing skills, and mathematical accuracy and fluency. Students also complete two lapbooks per year.

Logic and Rhetoric
During Logic years (7th and 8th grade), we will focus on developing students’ skills in Composition, Research, and Latin while introducing Logic into their previously mastered grammar skills. In contrast, the Rhetoric years (9th-12th grade) will be spent defining and sharpening their skills in all subject areas that lead to the all important development of their unwavering biblical world view.
